I have some Google Wave invites. I will give away some invites at the end of the week. If you would like one leave a comment and I will pick some people at the end of the week. If you already have a Google Wave account and would like to send me a “wave”, let me know.

    Hi, I would definitely like one. I just followed you on twitter as well.I love the name of your blog. This is how I feel about a lot of what I do.

    I’m fasting until I get an invite, subsisting solely on drinking water and swallowing air. I can probably survive up to the end of the week. Save me, give me an invite. Also, I have a couple of dust bunnies on my desk, if you give me an invite then I’ll name one of them after you.

    Seriously though… I’d love one!
    Cheers.

    Hey! I would love to get an invite. Somehow i was too slow to sign up at Google as one of the first 100.000 applicants – but maybe now I have a chance.

    @gst

    No worries about being late, I signed up as soon as it was announced and didn’t get it. Besides some targeted people most of the 100k people were chosen at random as far as I know regardless of when they signed up.

    @Ian

    Yes – I’ve also signed up shortly after it was announced.

    I’m currently using a local installation of the reference implementation to play around with it and write some bots. However, that’s all a little bit complicated, as the reference implementation e.g. only include a text-mode client.

    Then there’s also the public Pygo Wave server (http://pygowave.net/) – but they also only offer a very simple Web interface.

    So I can’t wait to get my hands on a “real” Wave account – I guess this makes the whole software development a lot easier.

    Hi,

    I have sent you an invite. I may take a few days to get to you.

    Not sure if you referred to my post (but I hope so):

    So thanks for the invite! I hope that I’m able to contribute some useful bots to the Wave landscape. While (according to a Twitter post by Google’s Steph Hannon) new accounts are not immediately able to send out invites, I’ll post some invites on your blog as soon as I’m able to do so.

    Hey! I just received a Wave Invite by Google. I’m not sure if this was your invitation as it starts with “Thank you for signing up to give us early feedback on Google Wave.” and as I got the possibility to invite others. So maybe they processed my initial signup for Wave.

    Hourigan: If you want me to nominate one of the other commenters just send me one mail address and I will send out a Wave invitation (if there are any privacy concerns because of the mail address you can also give out my address to the person whom you’d like me to invite).
