The 9 Hours Hotel
Posted: March 22nd, 2010 | Author: hourigan | Filed under: Design | Tags: Design | No Comments »Opened in Tokyo last December, the 9 Hours is a new hotel-dish, already common in the “format” of accommodation in Tokyo. The name comes from the concept of divided time: 1 hour to shower, sleep for 7 and 1 more to get ready for the next day.
But the highlight of the 9 Hours is its minimalist design, created by Fumie Shibata of Design Studio S. They are only four colors, often black and white, for all the visual identity and signage of the hotel.
